After Shanda Macomber was hired by a real estate agent in an administrative position at a real estate office, she quickly realized even though the overall job was great, there was one particular part of the job she adored.

Paperwork! More specifically, real estate transaction paperwork. All kinds of paperwork filled with infinite amounts of details and specifics required by California to be filled out accurately, or the deals just weren’t going to happen on-time, or at all in some cases.

Why Transaction Coordinators Exist

Extremely detailed forms are required in order to sell or purchase a home. There’s no getting out of it, and every form must be filled out in particular ways most real estate agents don’t always have time to focus on. Real estate agents wear many hats they need to wear, and their days are long enough. Paperwork just extends the day, either they have to come in earlier than everyone else, or stay later than everyone else. If they find an issue, more often than not, the people involved aren’t around to answer questions or fix the errors until the following day during normal business hours. Where did the idea for Be Happy TC come from? Owner and CEO Shanda Macomber had a great job working as an administrative assistant for a real estate agent and office. As time went by, Shanda was wearing many hats as an office administrator for a busy real estate office but yet it was the paperwork that made her feel fulfilled.

Learning the Ropes

There was no turning back once she got a taste for paperwork, and realized her passion was paperwork. There truly is a lid for every pot, isn’t there? She enjoyed the detailed work required, and the never-ending education required to successfully complete each form correctly, accurately and quickly. Plus, she thoroughly enjoyed helping clients with filling out the paperwork so their homes could be sold, and for individuals to secure their dream homes. 

Breaking Out on Her Own

It didn’t take long before Shanda realized her passion for paperwork was a unique one, but that others out there enjoyed it as much as she did. If that was the case, wouldn’t it be great to start a company made up of individuals dedicated solely to real estate transaction paperwork! 

Be Happy TC was founded, staff hired and trained. The result: real estate agents all over California have been happily focused on the tasks they’re good at while contracting out Be Happy TC for paperwork.
